Pleated Wrap Skirt - Navy Space Suiting
A wide pleated skirt, inspired by traditional Scottish kilts and Japanese hakamas. With it’s adjustable waistband and wide overlap for both structure and ease. In a drapey wool, affectionately referred to by our mill as “space wool”, its incredible stretch is achieved without using any synthetic materials, making this jacket not only gorgeous, but functional and flexible.
This skirt sits high on the waist and is designed to be nearly one size fits all. Covering waists from 30 - 40” and is 32” long.

To prevent over production and waste, collecting presale orders before or at the beginning of manufacturing provides us with information to more effectively predict the needs of our customers. About the material: Space Wool (100% wool)
A lightweight wool weave, affectionately named “Space” by one of our Italian mills, features a level of multi-directional stretch typically only found in elastic synthetic blended fibers. Our mill won’t want us to reveal too much about their process, but in short: the combination of fine wool fibers and weave structure, are mechanically stretched and relaxed, leaving the wool extra pliable without sacrificing any natural quality and feel.
Other materials: Cotton Plain Weave (100% cotton)
Our garments contain plain woven cotton in use as pocket bags, seam finishings, and when extra durability is needed, as a lining.
